Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kharkiv has constantly come under Russian attacks. Even in the seventh month of the full-scale war, the attacks are constant: in the city, dozens of residential neighborhoods are ruined, and many, many civilians are killed.

As of August 30, 2022, according to the police, 1,122 people died in the Kharkiv region because of Russian aggression, and the number of killed by Russia keeps growing. The attacks go on. What’s happening in the occupied territories is another big issue.

Attack on Civilians film is a study of human rights infrastructure working to document Russia’s war crimes in Kharkiv Oblast and on occupied territories. The murder of civilians, destruction of buildings, rape, theft, collaborationism, and filtration camps are among many things the film focuses on.
